The Ely Road Play Area has now been cleared of old equipment by a group of volunteers, ready for the new equipment and surfacing.

The new equipment will be installed at the end of November 2015.

The cost of the equipment has been largely funded by a grant of £49,650 from WREN.

The Parish Council are delighted to announce that a grant of £20,000 has been awarded towards the replacement of the all-weather pitch on the Recreation Ground. The grant comes from the Amey Cespa Community Fund.

The Parish Council will now instruct contractors to replace the all-weather pitch and we hope that the work will be completed before Christmas.
