Stretham Feast

Stretham Feast 2020

Stretham yarns

The Stretham feast for 2020 has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We’ll be back next year.

Planning for our 2020 Feast has started. The theme this year will be the 1940’s.
The member of the community who will cut the ribbon to start our Feast celebrations this year will be Pauline Reagan, a well-known member of the community who has been involved with many village organisations and events over the years including the guides and Methodist chapel. There will be a dog show again this year please look out for more information in this newsletter and on our Facebook page. We are also pleased to announce that the prize draw is back with a £250 first prize, tickets will go on sale at the end of March. Like our Facebook page to get up to date information.

Our parade charity this year will be SERV, a Cambridgeshire and Suffolk charity which free of charge has volunteers transporting blood products, donated breast milk, patient samples every day, night, weekend, & public holiday including Christmas day for the NHS and air ambulance.

We desperately need help to set up, dismantle and marshal the parade during the Feast weekend, without volunteers we would not be able to have our Feast celebrations so please get in touch if you want to get involved and keep this traditional and popular event going.
